コトバを発する仕組み How Language is Physically Produced

普段なにげなく使っているコトバ。そのコトバを私たちは、どのようにして発しているのでしょうか？　ヒトは、筋肉運動を通してコトバを発しています。音声言語の場合なら、肺、声帯、顎や舌、唇、その他を動かすためのたくさんの筋肉。手話言語なら、上体・上肢を動かす筋肉。その身体の動きとコトバの関係を観察してみましょう。
We use language without thinking about it. But how do we produce it? Humans produce language signals by moving muscles. Spoken language involves the muscles that move the lungs, vocal chords, jaw, tongue, lips, and other parts of the body. Sign language involves the muscles that move the upper body and upper limbs. Let’s take a closer look at the relationship between body movement and the production of language.
