- 現在の研究課題
- 自然言語の構成性に基づく機械翻訳ーことばは一見複雑に見えても比較的簡単な要素の組み合わせで表現できることが多く、長い文や文章でも語句や構文の組み合わせと考えれば機械翻訳しやすくなると期待される。本研究を通じてそのように単純化できる要素と、ことばや文脈の深い理解を要する要素を分けて機械翻訳の問題を再構築することを目指している。

- Machine translation based on the compositional nature of natural languageーWords can often be expressed by combining relatively simple elements, even if they appear complex at first glance. It is expected that even long sentences and phrases can be easily machine-translated if they are considered as a combination of words and syntactic structures. Through this research, we aim to reconstruct the problem of machine translation by separating elements that can be simplified in this way from those that require a deep understanding of language and context.
