定年前にヴォーカル教室に通い始め、面白くなってきた57歳で喉頭癌のため声帯を摘出し、失意のどん底に。しかし、SF映画の宇宙人のようなELの声で職場復帰。その後、猛訓練でゲップが原理の食道発声も可能になり、気がつけば笑顔で定年を迎えていました。
Before retirement, I began taking vocal lessons, and at the age of 57, when I started to find singing more and more interesting, I had my vocal cords removed due to laryngeal cancer, and I hit rock bottom. I returned to work with voice produced with an electric larynx (EL), sounding like an alien from a science fiction movie. Subsequently, I acquired esophageal vocalization based on the principle of burping, before I knew it, I was retiring with a smile on my face.
