From Brain to Brain
Here we look at the relationship between language and the body. The acquisition of language has enabled humans to communicate large amounts of information efficiently. In order to speak or sign, humans make secondary use of the organs they have as living creatures. The form of speech and sign is influenced by these organs. The acquisition of language must also have affected the way human beings exist as living beings, both directly and indirectly.
