千葉県で生まれ、高校卒業後は建設会社に勤務していました。管理職として働いていた44歳の時に脳梗塞を起こし、「聴く」「話す」「読む」「書く」ことが難しくなりました。現在は、リハビリを続けながら、関連会社に復職しています。

Born in Chiba Prefecture, I worked for a construction company after graduating from high school. At the age of 44, while working in a management position, I suffered a stroke that made it difficult for me to listen, speak, read, and write. At the moment I have returned to work for a related company while I continue my rehabilitation.

失語症になって言葉がしゃべれなくても理解はできます。頭が悪くなったわけじゃない。理解して聞く人は察してくれるけれど、一般の人は避けたり、面倒くさいと感じてしまうみたいだから。でも、僕はもっと話がしたいんですよね。
With aphasia, even though I no longer speak much, I still understand what others say. It is not that my cognitive ability has been disabled. Some people understand that and try to infer what I’m trying to say, but most avoid talking to me, appearing that it’s a bit too much to deal with. But I would like to, if possible, talk with more people, to enjoy having a chat with other individuals.
