In both Japanese and Japanese Sign Language, there is no uniformity in the way expressions are used. Here we have collected the expressions of “grandfather” and “grandmother” from Momotaro’s story. You can see and hear the first part of the story in the permanent exhibition hall of the National Museum of Ethnology.
